Paolo Troilo Art Share

Paolo Troilo is a drawer and painter from Milan, Italy. He first began drawing at the age of four and made his American debut at the Coup D'Etat in San Francisco last year.
"Paolo uses his fingers. Paolo’s fingers masterfully work like a brush on canvas to represent feelings people are not ready to express. The use of his fingers makes the whole painting experience more personal for Paolo, which is an important aspect of his art.

Another unique feature of Paolo’s work is that he only paints self-portraits. No this is not because he is egotistical, but rather he uses himself to portray emotions that all people struggle with, but are not willing to admit. He uses his body as a book to be consumed and read. Like a book uses white and black ink, Paolo does not use color in his work because his goal is to create work that allows for the viewer to contribute their own color."
